Step One-Needs Assessment

About Our Three Step Process

Our design team will meet with you to determine goals such as aesthetics, budget and work flow. We will review the available space, consider environmental and sustainability requirements, review compliance to local and national codes, and identify employee needs, desired function and quantity. We also provide a full space utilization review to determine your current and future needs with ergonomics, sound/noise, electrical & IT, lighting, work style, and any other requirements.

Step Two-Space Planning and Design

About Our Three Step Process

The second step in Maryland Business Interiors’ process is Space Planning and Design. In this phase, your designer will identify space planning solutions, provide 2-D & 3-D drawings of the proposed furniture, develop product specifications (BOM) and installation documentation, and obtain your approval with sign offs. We’ll provide you with a detailed quote itemized with pricing.

Step Three-Delivery and Installation

About Our Three Step Process

In this phase, your project manager will set a delivery and installation time, do a final check of the order to ensure accuracy, handle the order entry, and confirm any changes with the order. We then update you on order status and coordinate for shipment and delivery to your facility. While there are several small details they are not too important to overlook. Such as: Walk thru your space before delivery, check the loading dock to see if it’s available, is there a freight elevator, do we need to put a covering to protect the floor. Our years of experience have taught us how to ensure a smooth, punch list free installation.
